Truckload Dispatch

If look around the internet you'll see plenty of transportation software companies making plenty of claims. Well here's what we claim. We invented the concept of a dispatch screen. Before we created our system, dispatchers were second class citizens in the transportation world. They were expected to use software that didn't even make sense, forget about it being helpful. Here's another claim. We handle Truckload Dispatch and Brokerage, LTL Dispatch and Brokerage and Intermodal Dispatch. We've handled all of these lines of business since version 1 or our software. We knew how to do it going in and we do it better with every version. Most systems that address more than one line of business will cram all of their features into the program and you get to pick through everything to find the ones you need. We don't do this. We show and hide features based on your line of business. You will always have just what you need just where you need it, and that's it.

Menu Features All Other Features are arranged neatly and available from one spot.

Dispatch Manager All your freight, all on one screen that also provides access to every feature within Express Dispatch. Loads are displayed on the the Main Dispatch Screen and divided between those that are available and those that are enroute. To work with any load, right click on it and you will get a popup menu giving you access to functions such as 'Dispatch Load' or 'View Stops'. There's a menu for available loads and another for enroute loads. Each gives you the ability to sort up or down and filter in or out on any column, any row in the grid.

Customizable Dispatch Every company's operation is unique. Each dispatcher should be able to have their dispatch system look like their operations. With Express, your dispatchers can literally design their own Dispatch Board. They can pick the fields to show, the order to show them in and even filter the information. They can save as many of these custom displays as they want and the Dispatch Manager will let them flip thru their saved boards.

Hot Keys Why pick thru menu after menu to get to the things you need? Express lets you can program up to 47 hot-keys that can access every single feature in Express from virtually anywhere in Express.

Tracker Track your entire fleet, Units, Drivers, Trucks and Trailers, all at once. Get status info, histories, current locations, check calls histories, hours of service tracking, mapping and equipment repositioning all from one screen.

Freight Finder Searches your customers, your dispatching history and the XpressTrax.Com Load Board to find freight from anywhere.

Rate Finder Searches routes and finds rates you've charged in the past and checks your rate matrices for a route matching rate.

Assignments Pick your driver and Express will assign the right truck and trailer, calculate pay and check for safety and maintenance flags all at the same time.

Accessorial Pay Assign your driver additional pay items such as Detention Time or Extra Stops.

Tailgate Loads This unique feature lets you assign a load to an existing enroute load for those times when you need to drop a partial onto the truck's "tailgate".

Find Unit This advanced tool will find trucks that will be empty when the load is ready and will even calculate the deadhead miles to the load origin for each possible truck

Check Calls Input check calls from anywhere in Dispatch and Express will calculate driving time to the destination and warn you if the driver is running late.

Scheduler This is a very large and very powerful feature that lets you plan your future dispatching activity including assignments, reservations and time off. And it does it on one customizable, color coded screen. Scheduler will also match loads and equipment by searching active loads and returning them to you in deadhead miles order from the location of your equipment.

Advances Authorize advance checks from your fuel card vendor for drivers or carriers and track advances open at the same time.

Driver Messaging You don't need a satellite system to send messages to your drivers. With Express you can send and receive text messages and even send your driver detailed load information, including directions and maps. Your driver gets his own personal mailbox that he can access from his house, a truckstop internet kiosk and even his PDA.

Quotes Whether you issue a lot of quotes or not, this feature will make your life easier. Create quotes from loads with one click or book a load from a quote with one click. Quotes can be modified whenever you like and they can be faxed or emailed directly from your computer to your customer.

Job Orders Repeat business, short term job contracts, all tracked neatly and cleanly, ready for rapid fire dispatching when the time comes. The Job Order system will count down loads performed for any job and give you immediate feedback regarding job completion.

Research Express never locks you out of your loads no matter how old they are. You can research loads as far back as you want and you can search in dozens of different ways

Reports Literally hundreds of reports cover every aspect of your operation. All Reports are developed using Crystal Reports. Each report can be modified in many different ways. Each report can be changed and re-run on the fly. Reports and any changes can be saved Batch Printing is available and reports can be scheduled for printing. Each category of reports is individually secured at the user level You can view as many reports on the screen as you wish Every report exports to MS Word, MS Excel, and PDF and E-Mail
