How do your dispatchers communicate with your drivers? If your company is like most trucking companies then they’re probably doing it over the telephone. But verbal communications are expensive, time consuming, error prone, dangerous for moving drivers and totally unnecessary given the advanced communications technology available to you today. If your company still dispatches drivers over the telephone then you know how much time and money is being wasted by doing things in this very old-fashioned manner. Instead of spelling out street names to drivers you should be sending drivers their dispatch orders, pickup and delivery information, street level maps and route maps to your drivers’ smart phones. After that, the driver should be able to communicate his trip status back to your dispatchers without using the telephone. And customers should be kept informed of any necessary information concerning their freight’s status, again, without using the telephone.
Mobile Express
Our HTML based Mobile Express system is compatible with any cell phone that has internet access and a browser. With Mobile Express, you won’t have to give load instructions and directions to drivers over the phone. Instead, your drivers can receive complete dispatch information directly from Express while you dispatch. Plus, your drivers can submit check calls and load status updates from the road quickly and easily.
iLoadFinder
Finally, a load board for the iPhone. iLoadFinder uses your iPhone's GPS location to retrieve a list of loads available for pickup within a certain radius of the iPhone. If you don't find a load you like the first time, it's easy to change the radius and rerun the search. Or, if you want to search for freight from some other location, for example, from where your current trip is ending, it's easy to do that too. Once iLoadFinder locates your loads, press any load in the list to view detailed information about that load. From there you can select Call or Email to contact the shipper that listed the load or press Map to open a street level Google map of the shipping location.
Quick, easy, with thousands of loads posted daily and updated every five minutes. There is no better way to find a load from your iPhone. Load Board data provided by XpressTrax.com. Superior trucking technology developed by PCS Software.
In-Cab Scanning
With portable scanners being sold for less than a hundred dollars, and with most drivers traveling with laptops that have broadband internet access, it’s easier than ever for your drivers to send in their load documents. Being tightly integrated with our dispatching and accounting software means there’s no easier, faster or less expensive way to move documents.
Driver Faxing
Here’s yet another easy way to move documents. With our built-in fax capabilities, your drivers can fax their freight backup straight into our software via you own toll free fax number. There are no phone lines or modems required. All document transfers are managed quickly and efficiently by our advanced fax servers so all you have to do is send your invoice.
